My Software

This page contains various programs that I have written in my spare time, when there is some

Windows Desktop Rotator

This program changes your background image everytime you log in/start Windows. The program needs to be placed in the Start Menu and a directory to a set of .bmp files as the argument.

You can add pictures to the directory or take them away and the program will display them. Click here to download

Compare and Copy

This program compares a working directory with a backup directory and highlights the files that are newer in the source directory.

You can deselect or select extra files to be copied or not and then with the click of one button have the files copied to the backup directory.

I came up with this program and its interface after getting board checking through MS's Yes questions when copying large numbers of files from one directory to another.

It is also handy when you have multiple copies of project code that you are working on remotely and you want to see which files have been updated compared to the ones you are using.

Java Applet Numerology Program

A simple Java applet for those people that like working with the planets or birthdates to identify compatibility.

Document Counter

A Simple tool that allows you to count the number of lines, words, characters or paragraphs in a file. This program requires a valid copy of MS Word on your system, preferably Office 97 or above.
